Aboriginal Arts and Culture Trainee Position Available

CAN WA is looking to employ an Aboriginal Arts and Culture trainee to assist in the development of arts and culture programs, in consultation with the community, in the Eastern Wheatbelt.

The trainee must have some administrative and communication skills but training and mentorship will be provided during the course of employment. This position is part-time, 20 hours per week for two years and a salary of $15,856 per annum is offered. This position is funded by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet Office for the Arts through the National Jobs Package.

This position is classified under Section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act (A) 1984 and as such Aboriginality is deemed an essential requirement for this position.
