Key Dates: 13 May 2011 (deadline for first round applications)

Venue: Open Nationally

Regional Development Australia Fund (RDAF) aims to provide grants to support the infrastructure needs and economic growth of Australia’s regions.

The program is based on the principle that regions and their communities are best placed to identify the key development opportunities that will support sustainable economic and community growth and to ensure that investments are targeted at projects of lasting benefit.

The first RDAF funding round opened in March 2011 and aims to contribute up to $100 million of Commonwealth funding to approved projects. Funding of between $500,000 and $25 million per project will be available.
