Bunbury Biennale 2013 Call Out for Contemporary Artists

Contemporary artists residing in Western Australia are encouraged to submit a folio of work for the commissioning of artworks for the Bunbury Biennale 2013.

The Bunbury Biennale is a contemporary art exhibition that was initiated by the City of Bunbury Art Collection Committee in 1993. The aim of this event is to attract and acquire new works from Western Australian contemporary artists to expand and diversify the existing Art Collection. The exhibition is of State significance and is conducted in conjunction with the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries.

The selection of the submissions will be made by a panel that comprises two professionals from the visual arts industry and the City of Bunbury Arts Registrar/Curator. The selected artists will each be invited to create an artwork for the exhibition.

All artwork should reflect the quality, diversity and innovation of current contemporary arts practice.

$20,000 available for acquisitions.
Each submission should include:
• A completed  entry form
• A selection of 6 digital images on CD indicative of the work
• An artist statement
• A brief description of the work
• A recent artist CV
• Entry fee
