Job Opportunity: Maruku Arts Operations Manager

Maruku helps develop, market and sell art and artifacts produced by painters and woodcarvers in communities throughout the Anangu Lands of SA, the NT and WA and provides a range of art-based tourism experiences in and around Uluru.

This is a hands-on position involved in the running of all of Maruku's operations - a Warehouse based in Mutitjulu, the retail outlet in the Uluru Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and tourism activities delivered in Yulara.

Maruku are seeking a highly motivated individual with a will to succeed in promoting Aboriginal culture. The successful applicant should have hands-on skills in art development, an understanding of the retail and wholesale art business and the current tourism industry, extensive experience in working with Aboriginal people, as well as good communication and practical skills.

This is a full time position offering an attractive salary, four weeks annual leave plus leave loading and remote allowance. Salary packaging is available, and housing is provided.
