Kimberley Art Prize 2013

Artists of the Kimberley, Western Australia and beyond are invited to enter the Kimberley Art Prize 2013.

The prestigious art prize, now in its 43rd year, is facilitated annually by the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley and has the distinction of being the longest running Art Prize in Western Australia as well as one of the most remote art competitions in Australia.

Award categories remain the same for 2013. They are: Woodside Emerging Artist, Indigenous, Oils and Acrylics, Watercolour and Pastel, Mixed Media, Drawing, Open Non-Kimberley, Boab Nut Carving, Youth Award (12-17 years) and People's Choice.

The Kimberley Art Prize Overall Winner stands to win $10,000 with the Woodside Emerging Artist awarded $5,000. Category winners are awarded $1,000 and $500.
