Mimili Maku Arts requires a highly skilled and energetic Manager capable of maintaining and developing its reputation while supporting the cultural, social and artistic priorities of Anangu people.

Mimili Maku Arts was incorporated in 2010 and it is one of Australia's most exciting Aboriginal owned and governed Art Centres. Mimili Maku Arts works closely with the artists from Mimili Community and surrounding homelands.

Mimili Maku Arts' core business is to support the Aboriginal artists from the Aboriginal community of Mimili, on the APY Lands in South Australia. Mimili Maku Arts is a thriving Art Centre, which supports the creative and cultural aspirations of its community members.

Mimili Maku Arts exists to provide fulfilling and productive arts practice to its members; offer independent income to community members; and provide training and employment.  The Art Centre supports professional and recreational artists' practice in diverse art forms, which include acrylic on canvas, weaving, carving and works on paper.  Mimili Maku Arts has strong support from its members and strong Directors with a clear vision for the future.

The Art Centre Manager will manage the overall direction of the enterprise including the supervision of Anangu Arts workers. They will work closely with the Mimili Maku Arts Board and with the many artists of the art centre to meet their artistic, cultural and business aspirations; and will provide high-level advice in the development of strategic, commercial and cultural policies and timely regular reports to members of the Art Centre and Board.
