Bunbury Biennale 2017 Exhibition: 08 July – 10 September
2017

Venue: Bunbury Regional Art Galleries, Bunbury WA

Contemporary WA artists working in a broad range of visual arts practices, (including 2- & 3-dimensional, multi/new media and installation art) are encouraged to submit their expressions of interest for selection for the 2017 Bunbury Biennale.

Selected artists will be invited to create new works for
the exhibition which will present the quality, diversity and
innovation of the current trends in contemporary arts
practice.  Artists will be selected based on their submissions
by a panel of three professionals from the visual arts
industry.

The Bunbury Biennale is a state-wide contemporary art
event, initiated by the City of Bunbury Art Collection Committee in
1993 and is the second oldest Biennale in Australia.

The aim of the exhibition is to attract the best of West
Australian contemporary art and to acquire new works to expand and
diversify the existing City of Bunbury art collection. It is the
largest public art collection outside the art gallery of Western
Australia. The event will be held at the Bunbury Regional Art
Galleries.
