Perth International Arts Festival | INVITATION

Key Dates:

Tuesday 02 February 2016 at 11.00am

The Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF) is inviting the participation of the Noongar community in its opening event, Home, Lotterywest Festival Opening, Langley Park, Saturday 13 February 2016.

This year there will be a focus on Noongar people/history
and the organisers would like to have between 200 and 300 Noongars,
on stage, during the event, and with representation from all
six regions.

Organisers are also looking for women to participate as
dancers during the event.

Associate Director, Dr Richard Walley, Ms Olivia Ansell and Ms
Shakara Walley will be conducting an information/presentation
session at the South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council on
Tuesday 02 February 2016 at 11.00am.

If you and/or members of your family would like to be involved,

At these meetings it is okay to have just one family/community
representative who will be able to relay the information to others
who would also like to participate at the event.
