CALL FOR | Submissions For ‘Revealed 2017’ Exhibition Are Now Open!

Revealed dates: 05-08 April 2017
Entries may include but are not limited to: painting, weaving, wood carving, works on paper, recycled materials, new mediums, installations, site specific pieces, project or outcome based work, performance, sculpture, digital media and photography.
Focusing on emerging WA Aboriginal artists and art practice,
Revealed 2017 will have an emphasis on innovation and excellence,
encouraging more ambitious creative projects, as well as projects
that may not have a specific commercial outcome.
Fremantle Arts Centre would like to create an environment for
new artistic projects to be exhibited, providing art centres with
opportunities outside of their regular annual exhibition program.
Working within set conditions which define what qualifies as
emerging art/artist, the selection panel will be made up of
suitable experts. Other factors will also be considered by the
judges including under-representation, experimentation, new
developments and mediums.
What you need to provide:
– At least one high resolution image example (minimum, more
photos will give the selection panel a better idea of artist’s
– A brief artist biography; and
– If you have a project-based concept, a short paragraph
outlining what the artist is planning and what will be involved to
ensure its timely delivery.
