Two positions are currently open at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT), Darwin NT: Exhibitions Officer and Executive Assistant. MAGNT is an equal opportunity employer and encourages Indigenous candidates to apply.

Exhibitions Officer

  • full time, three year contract
  • based in Darwin
  • $78,000 per annum, plus 9.5% superannuation, with four
    weeks annual leave

Reporting to the Exhibitions Manager, and working in partnership
with internal and external stakeholders, this position is
responsible for providing quality professional support in
coordinating and delivering MAGNT’s exhibitions program, including
MAGNT’s annual Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander Art Awards (NATSIAAs).  This position will also
provide support to the delivery of public programs that create a
richer more engaging visitor experience.


Executive Assistant

  • full time, three year contract
  • based in Darwin
  • $65,000 per annum, plus 9.5% superannuation, with four
    weeks annual leave

MAGNT is looking for a an experienced executive assistant to
provide executive level secretarial, financial and administrative
support and coordination to the Director, Assistant Director and
secretariat support to the Board of MAGNT.
