OUR FUTURE
ABORIGINAL ARTS WORKER TRAINING PROGRAM
The OUR FUTURE Aboriginal Arts Worker Training Program supports Aboriginal arts workers living in regional and remote areas of WA to develop new skills and expand their arts sector knowledge.
The program participants were: Joylene Warrie, Sharona Walker & Mary Watson representing Juluwarlu Art Group, Corban Williams & Robina Clause representing Martumili Artists, Elfreda Richards representing Papulankutja Artists and Gabriella Baxter representing Nagula Jarndu Designs.
During the Perth two-week program participants had the opportunity to learn from, tour and explore Perth’s top cultural institutions.
We thank our valued partners WA Museum and Art Gallery of WA (AGWA) for their continued support of the OUR FUTURE program.
We also thank the following arts & culture institutions and arts professionals for being part of our November 2022 program: PICA, Holmes à Court Gallery, Berndt Museum of Anthropology, Kerry-Ann Winmar and Fiona Gavino.
The program is proudly supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) through the Regional Arts and Cultural Investment Program (RACIP) and is delivered in partnership with North Metropolitan TAFE.
