Location: Unit 16, Level 2, 139 Newcastle Street, Perth WA

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About the role  

The Project Coordinator role is a key position working in accordance with the vision, goals and policies of the Board to support the delivery of AACHWA’s core programs. Coordinators plan and deliver events and activities in collaboration with partners and support Managers or the CEO to achieve organisational outcomes, contribute to annual planning, and manage projects and budgets within their allocated scope.

The Project Coordinator operates to support the delivery of two of AACHWA’s core annual programs: Revealed: New & Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists and the Our Business Aboriginal Art Centre Forum. 

Revealed is WA’s biggest celebration of Aboriginal art, comprising an expansive exhibition, art market as well as professional and creative development programs for artists and art centre staff.

The Our Business: Aboriginal Art Centre Forum is a weeklong professional development gathering designed to support WA Aboriginal art centres by providing training in effective business management, promoting regional partnerships, and offering networking and market access opportunities.

Held in a different regional WA location each year, the annual forum aims to support the professional growth and leadership training of art centre board members, managers, staff and arts workers by providing presentations, activities, and opportunities to connect with others in the sector, thereby strengthening the WA arts and culture workforce.

The role involves supporting the planning, delivery, evaluation and promotion of these two events.
