Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists
The state’s biggest celebration of Aboriginal art, Revealed, is returning to Boorloo (Perth) with a vibrant open-air market on Saturday, 18 April, at WA Museum Boola Bardip and an eight-week exhibition at nearby Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA).
Curated by proud Whadjuk, Ballardong and Wilman Noongar artist and curator Zali Morgan, the Revealed exhibition showcases the works of more than 100 new and emerging Aboriginal artists. Both the art market and exhibition offer a rare opportunity to purchase original artwork directly from art centres and independent artists, with all proceeds supporting artists and their communities.
Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists is delivered under the custodianship of the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub Western Australia (AACHWA) – the peak advocacy and resource body for Aboriginal art centres in the state.
