BIDYADANGA ARTISTS
Desert Meets the Seaside
Spanning vast desert landscapes to the coastal region around Bidyadanga, this exhibition showcases paintings and photographs by artists from the largest remote Aboriginal community in Western Australia, including the Karajarri, Juwalinny, Mangala, Nyangumarta, Martu, and Yulparitja language groups. These works reflect deep connections to Country. The photography series, a result of recent workshops, highlights the creative expressions of Bidyadanga women as they explore their culture and identity through the camera lens.
