Our Business 2026: Travel, Accommodation & Transport

We provide support based on the distance (in kilometres) from your art centre to the Forum’s location in Kununurra as per the table below.

Disclaimers

Please note, all art centres are responsible for booking and managing their own travel arrangements (for example, by plane, car etc.).

AACHWA will be contacting art centres in the Western Desert Region to discuss travel arrangements.

Travel subsidy payments

• You will need to book and pay for your travel upfront and will receive your subsidy payment following your attendance at Our Business 2026.
• If you have been allocated a subsidy, you will need to invoice AACHWA for the agreed subsidy amount after Monday 28 September 2026 (following your attendance at Our Business 2026).
• Please note, all invoices must be received no later than Monday 26 October 2026.

All AACHWA member art centres are eligible for free accommodation for their participating guests for the duration of the Forum (available for check in Sunday 20 September, check out Friday 25 September), which AACHWA will reserve on your behalf. This is in the form of:

One cabin at Discovery Parks (2 bedroom, 1 bedroom or studio cabin);

OR

One room at the Kimberley Grande Resort (single room with double bed or twin room with two single beds)

All rooms are subject to availability; AACHWA will do its best to book you in your preferred room, but it is not guaranteed.

Please note: this offer is limited and you must register by the deadline of 5pm AWST Monday 31st August 2026 to secure your room.

Any members requiring additional accommodation can access the Community Rate of $175 per night for a single (double-bed) room or $220 per night for a twin (two single beds) room with breakfast included if staying at the Kimberley Grande. You can confirm the number of additional rooms you’ll need when registering for Our Business.

Any members requiring additional cabins at Discovery Parks can request these by contacting ourbusiness@aachwa.com.au If available, you will be informed of any additional amount due for Discovery Parks upon confirmation of accommodation.

Accommodation payments 

AACHWA will invoice your art centre for any rooms that are additional to the complimentary accommodation provided as outlined earlier. 

1. Register for Our Business 2026 via Humanitix by 5pm AWST, Monday 31st of August 2026 

We understand that it’s not always possible to know exactly who will be attending the event at the time of registration. You’ll be able to update the names of attendees up until 5 days before the Forum commences. Please contact AACHWA at ourbusiness@aachwa.com.au for further information.

2. Tick: ‘I would like to request the AACHWA member travel subsidy’ while completing your registration.  

3. Select which accommodation you would prefer as part of the AACHWA member accommodation offer. This is subject to availability, AACHWA will do its best to put you in your preferred accommodation, but it is not guaranteed. 

4. Tick (Optional): ‘I would like to request that AACHWA book [X] additional rooms on behalf of my art centre’ If requiring additional rooms at Kimberley Grande. Contact ourbusiness@aachwa.com.au to request additional cabins at Discovery Parks, if required.

5. Pay AACHWA’s invoice for additional accommodation costs by Monday 30 October 2026. 

To qualify for the travel and accommodation subsidy, you must:

• Be an AACHWA member. Check if you are a current member.
• Register for Our Business 2026 by 5pm AWST, Monday 31st of August 2026 
• Attend Our Business 2026 (Monday 21 September to Thursday 24 September 2026)

Thanks to our accommodation partners at Kimberley Grande, all forum participants can access the Community Rate of $175/ per night for a single (double bed) room or $220 for a double (twin beds) room Breakfast is included. 

AACHWA will manage the accommodation booking and invoice you for the cost. If you’d like to book a room at the Community Rate, please confirm the number of rooms you’ll need when registering for Our Business. 

You must register for Our Business by 5pm AWST, Monday 31st of August 2026 to be guaranteed the Community Rate. 

How to secure your accommodation discount 

1. Register for Our Business 2026 via Humanitix by 5pm AWST, Monday 31st of August 2026
