Aboriginal Arts Worker Training Program

The Our Future: Aboriginal Arts Worker Training Program provides accredited practical training and real-world experience to Aboriginal arts workers in regional and remote Western Australia.

This training program is delivered in partnership with North Metropolitan TAFE and supports emerging arts professionals to develop their knowledge and skills across a broad spectrum of arts and cultural specialisations.

Delivered in two parts, it offers selected arts workers the opportunity to visit and learn from Perth’s major arts and cultural institutions and a regional WA Aboriginal art centre (frequent collaborators include the Western Australian Museum and Art Gallery of Western Australia).

Nominations for 2025 have now closed. Learn more about this year’s program.
